Looking at the weekend ahead, on Saturday 15th August, Brecon MC are hosting the Old Forge Garage Gremlin Historic Rally, a round of the HRCR road rally championship. A day of tough regularity sections around Powys. Competing from the club are Garry Preston and Iain Tullie in the Mini cooper S; Andy Pullan and Mark Appleton in the Peugeot 205GT; Bevan Blacker and Sam Spencer in the Ford Escort Mk1; Clive Baty and Henry Carr in the Ford Escort; Gavin Webster and Andy Chun in the Porsche 944.
Also on Saturday, enjoying the epic roads across the water, Dave and Beki Hedley are enjoying being part of the touring assembly of the Tour of Mann.
On Sunday, there is the EACC Kames Summer Junior Rally at Kames Motorsport Complex in East Ayrshire. Competing from the club is McKenzie Snowden and Rob Fagg in the VW Up!
Closer to home, there is the York MC monthly club autotest at Warren Philliskirks, Green Hammerton. Competing from the club are Tom Spence in the Ford Escort; Richard and James Eaton in the Peugeot 109; Gary and Mandy Ross in the Ford Ka; Stephen Waddington in the Hyundai i10; Neil Raven in the Subaru Legacy; Sue Sutcliffe in the Vauxhall Corsa; Kevin and Toby Lomax in the Seat Mii.
If you fancy a day out spectating, on Sunday is the North West Rally Legends, a Stage Rally Demonstration event held at Haigh Hall in Wigan. There are some fabulous cars on the entry list.
