There are some cracking events on over the weekend. On Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June 2026, there is the East Anglian Classic Historic Rally around Bury St Edmunds; competing from the club are Paul Richards and Nick Cooper in the Ford Cortina; John King and Henry Carr in the Ford Escort.
On Saturday there is the Stockport 061 Targa Rally at Weeton Barracks, competing from the club are David Mosey and Louise Richardson in the Vauxhall Corsa.
Also on Saturday is Exercise Roadmaster, an annual cross-country 4×4 navigation and safe/skilled driving challenge. The event is hosted by the British Army Motorsports Association (BAMA) at Leckonfield. Competing from the club is Adam Barker and we have some club marshals assisting.
On both days over the weekend, Sheffield and Hallam MC are holding the Mallory Park sprint In Leicestershire, competing from the club is Peter House in the e-type Jaguar.
On Sunday 21st June 2026, Wallasey MC are hosting the Park Garage Rali Anglesey at Trac Môn Anglesey Circuit competing from the club are Jonathan Turnbull and Neil Rostern in the Citroen C2.
Also on Sunday, Ilkley crews are out marshalling on the Beamish Museum Reliability Run observing on Askrigg Bank. This is a great event to spectate at starting at the museum at 8.15 am and returning at 3.45pm. It is a challenging 150-mile run for cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles registered before 1956.
Again on Sunday, Selby MC Three Swans Classic Tour .Enjoying the sunshine from the club are Andrew Johnson and Dianne Horsman in the Lancia Fulvia; Bernie and June Watkins in the Vauxhall Cavalier; Dave and Beki Hedley in the Ford Puma; Dave Ruddock and Paula Brown in the MX5; Dave Boyes and Shelley Sibson in the Mercedes SLK280.
The 2nd Clubnight Car Trial of 2026 will be in the field opposite The Strid Tearooms, Bolton Abbey on Wednesday 24th.
