There is a good mix of socialising, spectating and competing going on at the weekend.
Club member Bevan Blacker is having an open day at Blacker Automotive on Saturday morning from 9am. Bring a our car along or just come for a coffee and a mingle. Its a great spot at Allerton Park, just off A59 where we had the lunch halt for the Ilkley Jubilee rally last year.
Looking further afield, on Saturday there is the Severn Valley Historic Rally based around Builth Wells in Powys where Steve Ward and John Millington are competing in the Ford Escort Mk2. Hero challenge 1 is in Somerset & Devon and competing are Gavin Webster and Andy Chun in the Porsche 244.
More locally on Sunday we have the Harewood Spring Championship Hill Climb. Competing from the club are Simon Green in the Subaru Impreza, Jim Johnstone in the TR6, Peter House in the Aston Martin vantage GT4 rally 2 & Henry Moorhouse in the Westfield.
We also have the York Motor Club Yorkshire Classic tour which starts and finished at Easingwold Market Place. Joining the tour from the club are Paul Slingsby and Michael Fox in the Audi Quattro; Claire and Neil Raven in the Austin Mini; John and Gail Dunning in the 2000 GTV Alfa Romeo.
Also on Sunday at the Altratech Stockport MC Stages at Anglesey Circuit hoping to get off the reserve list in Jonathan Turnbull and Neil Rostern in the Citroen C2.

Next Club Event
As the nights get lighter we can all start to come out of hibernation. A great way to do this is by having a drive out to the Nelson pub near Harrogate, HG3 2BH. Come in your motoring pride and joy, old or new, two, three or four wheeled and enjoy the Spring evening taking in the variety of cars and chatting to club members. Gather from 7:30 onwards to make the most of the evening
