Just one more week to go until we get some lighter evenings. Last night was the final round of this season of the Skipton Trophy and congratulations to Andy Harrison and Henry Carr.

Some good weather is on the cards for the club members who have volunteered to spend their Saturday afternoon on Middleton Moor observing motorcycles on The Ilkley Grand National Motorcycle event. There is only one other event in the country like it, so it is a privilege to host such a unique event. So far there are 51 entries and entries have not yet closed. Hours have been spent by Adrian Tate walking the moor setting up the sections supported by John Brogden and Nick Pullan to ensure it is a successful and enjoyable event. Jane Tindall has done a marvellous job of the entries and will still be up late on Saturday night finalising the results. So a big thank you to all club members involved.

Looking at other events of Saturday, we have the Kath Curzon memorial junior rally a single venue stage rally held at Pembrey in Carmarthenshire. Competing from the club is McKenzie Snowden with Rob Fagg in the VW Up!

We also have the Shelsley Walsh Historic Sporting Trial. Competing from the club is Mark Busfield in his Trident.
