Greystokes Rally is running on Sunday 5th July in Cumbria and are still asking for support. If you are free and willing to help, please contact the chief marshal Joe Walker on 07827 960560. We do have club members up there so there’s some happy faces to greet you.
Over the weekend, Harewood are hosting the British Championship Hillclimb competing from the club are Peter House in the Jaguar E type series 1. Spectator tickets are available on the Harewood Hillclimb website.
On Sunday 5th July, historic competitors are at the Cotswold Classic Rally, hosted by Tavern MC and starting in Cirencester. This will consist of 8 Special Tests on a variety of surfaces, at two venues including South Cerney Airfield. The tests will be linked by around 90 miles of Regularity. competing from the club are John Haygarth and Martyn Taylor in the Opel Kadett Rallye; Darell Staniforth and Henry Carr in the Toyota Corolla; Paul Richards and Nick Cooper in the Ford Cortina; Gavin Webster and Andy Chun in the Porsche 944.
Also on Sunday is the Hexham MC Northern Dales Targa at the cement works at Eastgate, Wearside. Competing from the club are David Mosey and Louise Richardson in the Vauxhall Corsa; Neil and Claire Raven in the Mazda MX5; Gavin Parry and Peter Clegg in the Mazda MX5.
