- 12 CAR & RALLYING
On Wednesday 18th February 2026, Iain Chadwick and Andy Shaw are running their first 12 car event from Norwood Edge. They have had the full support of the experience of other members to assist them on their journey. Ian Mitchell has been a great support to them and I, like other members are sad to hear of the passing of Ian Mitchell this week whilst on a Caribbean cruise. It’s a solemn reminder to get out there and make the most of your precious time on this planet.
Iain is asking for more volunteers to help and marshal of the event, so any early offers will give him peace of mind. So get in touch with him directly on 07534 458848 or sign on via motor club manager. If you are new to marshaling 12 cars you will be looked after, so do come and help out or wish to compete.

The Riponian Rally is on Sunday 8th February
The East Riding Stages is on Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd February.
The Dansport Historic Rally is on Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd February and The Tour of Cheshire on Saturday 7th March.
The Three Legs of Man is on Friday 13th & Saturday 14th March.
The new Yorkshire Dales Rally is on Sunday 29th March.
Regarding the Yorkshire Dales Rally, Peter Settle is looking for volunteers to help in the service areas at Leyburn so get in touch if you can help.
