Looking at the exciting events over the weekend, we have the HERO-ERA Summer Trial starting on Friday 17th July in Durham. The event lasts 3 days and competing from the club are Clive and Jenny Baty in the Renault 5; Dick Baines and Iain Tullie in the Austin mini cooper S; Keith Davis and Henry Carr is the Peugeot 205 XS. There are plenty of Ilkley marshals on the route and tests who will be cheering you along!

Also for three days starting today Across in Isle of Mann is the first ever hill rally which has been run on the island. Competing from the club and Quin Evans and Dante Evans in the Mitsubishi Pinin.
On Saturday 17th July, there is the RSAC Scottish rally, a forest stage rally based in Dalbeattie in Dumfries and Galloway. We will be cheering all the way for Kris Hopkins and Colin Watson in the Rover SD1 roaring its way through the forest.

Next Sunday 26th July we have the Ian Mitchell Celebration of Life Car Run from Otley to East Cowton near Darlington at 11am. A scenic route covering roads used on past Jubilee rallies. Sadly we lost Ian in January and Lyn is hosting a celebration of life. All are welcome on the run and there are limited places for those who want to come to the village hall. Please let Neil or Claire Raven know if you would like a map for the run and / or wish to attend the function.

Wednesday 29th July is Stubbings Farm Car Trial. Secretary is Andy Pullan 07816 075697 and Clerks of Course are Ian Waddington & Roy Howarth.
Afterwards will be at The Wetherspoons (The Bowling Green), 18 Bondgate, Otley LS21 3AB
