This weekend we are hosting a double header car trial as part of the MSUK, BTRDA and ANWCC championships. On Saturday the event will be the Yorkshire Post Car Trial at Haw Pike Farm, Addingham and on Sunday it will be the Filtrate Trophy at the Strid, Bolton Abbey. Entries have now closed but if you are available to marshal do get in touch with Simon Kingsley. We are short of marshals so any offers would be greatly appreciated.
Competing from the club on Saturday are Stephen Waddington in i10 Hyundai; Danny Gamble and Jason Shuttleworth in the Leige; Leon Humphries in the Vauxhall Corsa & Brian Sievers in the Dutton.
On the Sunday competing from the club are Danny Gamble, Sam Gamble and James Fawcett in the Leige; Karen Humphires in the Citreon C1; Leon Humphries in the Vauxhall Corsa and Stephen Waddington in the i10 Hyundai & Brian & Chris Sievers in the Dutton.
On Saturday there is the Airtech integrity stages at Crail Airfield, in the East Neuk of Fife. Competing from the club are Stephen Bethwaite and Ann Dixon in the Vauxhall Nova. In the junior stages Mackenzie Snowden is in his VW Up with Rob Fagg.
Closer to home on Saturday is the Harewood Hill climb competing from the club is Peter House in the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 & Henry Moorhouse in the Westfield.
On Sunday, there is the Munkbridge Homes Targa rally hosted by Mid Derbyshire MC at Fulbeck. Competing from the club are David Mosey and Louise Richardson in the Vauxhall Corsa; Neil and Claire Raven in the MX5; Bevan Blacker and Abi Ruddock in the Ford Escort Mk1; Peter Scott and John Pinder in the Suzuki Swift Sport; Ray and Ben Jude in the Renault Clio; Gavin Parry and Pete Clegg in the MX5; John Bird and Simon Bentley in the Ford Focus.
Also on Sunday is the Seven Dales Run with Gary & Mandy Ross and Jonathan & Emma Forrest competing.
Entries are still open for the club night grass autotest on Wednesday 10th June on Mark Busfield’s land at Queensway, Guiseley. Marshals are also required.
