On Saturday there is the Malcolm Wilson Rally in Cumbria with an early start for stage commander Mark Dickenson and also supported by Jane and Francis Tindall, Iain Tullie and Ann and Stephen Dixon to name a few. Competing from the club are Dave and Jamie Forrest in the Escort Mk2; Kris Hopkins and Colin Watson in the Rover SD1 with its ferocious roar which we all enjoy; David Dobson and Brian Hodgson in the Opel Manta.
Saturday evening is the Ryemoor Trophy Rally hosted by Malton DMC starting and finishing at NY500 near Pickering. Theres a healthy entry from Ilkley MC with Jason Metcalfe and Joe Mallinson in the Proton Compact; John Bird and Simon Bentley in the Ford Fiesta ST170; Ed Cartledge and Amy Wolstenholme in the Citroen C2; Neil and Claire Raven in the Peugeot 205 GTI; Howard Chopping and Matt Chapman in the Mitsubishi Colt.
