Looking towards the weekends activities. On Saturday 12 April, there is the Kielder Carlisle Stages, a forest rally which is supported in the organisation and marshals by many members of the club. Competing from the club are Dave and Jamie Forrest in the Ford Escort Mk2.
Also on Saturday Bolton-le-Moors car club are being joined by Mark Stone and Karen Graham in the Alpine A110 on their touring assembly around Lancashire.
On Sunday 13 April 2025, Stockport MC Altratech Stages at Anglesey Circuit. Competing from the club we have David Longfellow and Jamie Wilson in the Citroen DS3 R5; David Ellis and Darren Wilson in the Mini.
Also on Sunday, there is the Whickham MC Shaw Trophy Targa Rally. Theres a good turn out of competitors from the club. In the modern class there is Kevin and Toby Lomax in the MX5; Pete and Sarah Clegg in the Vauxhall Corsa; David Mosey and Louise Richardson in the Vauxhall Corsa; Gavin Parry and Graham Hepworth in the Proton Satria; Simon Jarvis and Pete Jagger in the Peugeot 106 XSI; Andy Rowe and Simon Bentley in the Peugeot 205 GTI . In the historic class are Bernie Watkins and Adam Roper in the Morris Mini; Andy Pullan and Abby Bradley in the Pegeout 205 GT; Neil and Claire Raven in the MX5 and Joe Hardy and Adam Blacker in the Ford Escort Mk1.
At a more leisurely pace on Sunday is York MC – North Yorkshire Classic Tour starting at 10.30am and finishing at 3.15 pm in Easingwold Market Place. Its a great place to come and view the display of car is you have not entered with some nice cafes to pop into as well. Participating from the club are Adrian Wilford and Charlie Blaney in the Austin Mini; Dave and Beki Hedley in the Ford Puma; Jim and Nick Johnstone in the TR6.
