Looking towards towards the weekend, on Saturday 14th June Iain Tullie has organised one of the four regional taster events prior to the Eco Rally in Scotland in July. This is  a 12-Car Navigation Rally for Electric (EV) and Hybrid vehicles (HV) with an allowance for ICE vehicles to enjoy competing on the evening too. Entries are still open until midnight on Friday and this is an excellent opportunity for novice crews to have a go at regularities using RallyApp live. Competing from the club are James Hoyles and Claire Raven in the Honda E:Ny1; John Pinder in his Ford Fiesta ST150. The event can be entered on MCM and starts at 5.30pm so has the benefit of daylight. 

On Saturday evening Welsh Border Car Club are hosting the classic lanes rally in Powys. Competing from the club are Chris Farrel and Simon Bentley in the Ford Escort.

On Sunday, York Motor Club are holding their monthly club autotest at the cow sheds at Acaster. Competing from the club are Neil Raven in the Mx5; Dave Rudduck in the Mx5; Gary and Mandy Ross in the Peugeot 206; Claire Raven in the Peugeot 205 GTI. 

Also on Sunday is the 52nd Beamish Reliability Run, a challenging 150-mile run featuring cars, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles registered before 1956, starting from the museum and driving through Durham and Yorkshire. Supporting the event as marshals are Stan Peel and Chris Preston at Askrigg Bank.
