A great turnout was had for the scatter event on Wednesday evening with teams of both experts and novices competing. There are quite a few new competitors this season of all ages and some in new pairing. There are always either navigators or drivers about who want someone to pair up with; so if you are one of those members who fancy giving it a go competing on an event do get in touch and we will try and do some matchmaking.
On Saturday 1st November, the Neil Howard memorial stages are being held at Oulton Park. Competing from the club are Jamie Wilson and John Pinder in the Peugeot 107. He is a young talented driver who is being mentored by John, so he is one to watch as he thrives in motorsport.

Andy Harrison is competing in the SU carbureters Swiftune sprint at Goodwood on Saturday in Whizz his FIA Race Cooper S. This sprint event is for Pre-66 FIA Minis only with 65 Minis taking part.

Also over the weekend Les McGuffog in his Austin Healey 3000 is joining the Slowly Sideways team in demos at the Prescott Hillclimb as part of Rallye Prescott, which should be great fun as some of the runs will be in the dark.
