Lets hope that rain doesn’t stop any more play this weekend with the forecasted storms.

Looking at the weekend ahead 

HERO. Challenge 3, a two day event on the Welsh / English border.  Competing from the club are Darell Staniforth and Henry Carr in the Toyota Corolla, Christian Brash and Guy Cooper in the MG B & Gavin & Jessica Webster in the Porsche. 

On Saturday afternoon, club members were going to visit the Glen Rosa Dementia and Care Home, Grove Road, Ilkley to show their cars. This has been rescheduled due to the weather, but if you would like to be part of the next visit please let Neil Raven know.

Also on Saturday, The Motorist at Sherburn are promoting another rally day. Cars will be autotesting and passenger rides are available from 2.30pm. Also there will be an introduction to navigation from 1pm  if anyone fancies learning about life in the silly seat.  Les McGuffog is attending to promote the Jubilee rally and the club.  

There is also on Saturday the Motor Sport UK Street Car Knowledale Autumn Touring assembly around Yorkshire and Lancashire.  Mark Stone and Karen Graham are joining the run in the Fiat Panda Cross 4×4.

Sunday 5th October is the last social run from the Ings Pub of the year a great event, no membership required or entry form. You can just turn up and it is going to be a monster route with hot drinks and bacon sandwiches free of charge at the start.

Please come and join club members in a quiz night at the Horse and Farrier Pub, Bridge Street, Otley from 8pm on Wednesday 8th October. Everyone is welcome and the questions will be varied to suit all.
