Its busy, busy, busy as always and thats how we like it at Ilkley Motor Club.
On Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th September there is a round of the Nankang City Car Cup which is being held at Croft. Competing from the club are Ben Spencer, Ryan Middlemiss and John Sykes.
On Sunday 7th September, Durham Motor Club are holding the Wearside Targa at the Nissan plant in Sunderland. Competing from the club are Neil and Claire Raven in the Peugeot 205GTI; Dave Mosey and Louise Richardson in the Vauxhall Corsa; Bernie Watkins and Adam Roper in the Morris Mini. Cheering the crews on and marshaling on the event are Dave Lambourne and Kevin Goodings.
Also on Sunday Lincoln Motorcycle and Car Club are holding the Colin Ellmore Memorial Rally at Blyton Park. Competing from the club are Garry Carver and Ann Dixon in the Mitsubishi Colt; Jamie Wilson and John Pinder in the Peugeot 107.
If you fancy something more leisurely on Sunday morning from 10am is the Ings Pub, Guiseley monthly car meet. Come and look at the cars and bikes or get yourself out on the route that Dave Torrance has prepared and printed. Its a great social with FREE sandwiches and coffee at the start.
Dont forget the final clubnight auto test of the summer is being held on Wednesday 10th September at Camp House Farm, Bramhope. It your last chance to have some fun on a grass autotest for a while.
