THIS WEEKEND

As usual it is a busy weekend for club members with the return of the Grand National Motorcycle Trial from lunchtime on Saturday 22 March 2025 on the Middleton Moor and Langbar above Ilkley. Its great to see the event running again after a long break with lots of effort and determination from Adrian Tate, Nick Pullan, Jane Tindall and Neil Raven to bring the event back to life. We have a lots of fabulous members coming out to observe it will be a brilliant event.

On Saturday 22 March 2025 we have the HERO Challenge One in the Peak district and Staffordshire. Competing for the club we have Les McGuffog and Tim Sawyer in the Austin Healey 3000; Stephen Owens and Iain Tullie in the Porsche 911; Paul Bloxidge and Phil Cottam in the Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV; David Maryon and Henry Carr in the MGB roadster; Darell Staniforth and Rick Ekin in the Toyota Corolla; Jon Dunning and Pete Johnson in the Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV. Good luck to all crews

Also on Saturday, David and Adam Barker are attending Junior Comp safari in Waddon, Milton Keynes as part of the cross country committee team. A great event with youths from the age of 13 competing in cross country vehicles with MSUK supporting younger competitors.

Nick Pullan and Ian Canavan are heading across the North Sea for a crack at a historic regularity event in south east Belgium – the Classic Spring Roads rally. Should be fun – and a bit different!
