Thursday 6th November is day 1 of the RAC Rally of the Tests, which starts in Kendal and has a route covering four days including areas of Cumbria, the Pennines and the Peak District before finishing in Llandudno on Sunday. The event is renowned for its challenging blend of regularities, tests, and time controls, making it a highlight in the historic rally calendar. Competing from the club are Andy Lane and Iain Tullie in a Morris Mini Cooper S; Paul O’Kane and Henry Carr in a Porsche 911S; Christian Brash and Martin Brash in an MG B; Jon Dunning and Pete Johnson in a Ford Escort RS2000; Paul Bloxidge and Ian Canavan in a VW Golf GTI Mk 2.
On Sunday is the VSSC Lakeland Trial and I am sure that there are some club members supporting the event.
