No doubt many will have seen the reports on television regarding the tragic fires on Langdale Moor and the work being undertaken by the many fire crews, not just from North Yorkshire but nationally, coupled with the support from farmers etc. working towards containing the fires and to bring them under control.
Access to some of the affected areas is via Langdale Forest and Trackrod Rally Yorkshire has been requested not to use that forest for the forthcoming event, due to close proximity to the fires, access for emergency services and damage incurred to the forest roads due to vehicles and machinery used.
Ilkley will assist on another stage.
