  • New Year Walk and 12 Car.

    January 1st & 15th 2025.

    All are welcome to join in the fun which starts at the duck pond in the High Royds Estate, Menston. The route is 2 miles, takes approximately 1 hour, is easy going and child and dog friendly. Meet at 13.30 then up to the Ings pub for a well earned drink.
    The surface is in great condition the swings and exercise machines are also in good condition and running well.

    Entires are now open for the 12 car organised by Joe and Jason on 12th January. Starting and finishing at The Nelson Pub, Harrogate.

    New Year Walk

    This year’s walk will start at the side of the duck pond in the High Royds Estate and will take the path that loops around the estate and woods. This is a great way to walk off the hangovers and welcome in the new year with friends and family. Dogs are welcome and the going is very steady with only a couple of short inclines to get the pulse racing. Gather at the Main Time Control at 13:30 for the start line team selfie, then enjoy a stroll around this local historic site which will take approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours. Post walk refreshments will be at The Ings pub in Guiseley, LS20 9HR. For further info please give Neil a call on 07834 006342 Directions from Guiseley. Approach the White Cross roundabout and head for Otley. Pass the Aldi and BP garage on your right then take the first left. Directions from the Otley. Go through the lights at JCT, past St Mary’s school and take the next right.
