  • This Weekend.

    There was a great turn out of members at committee where after the agenda was covered some great discussion was had about the success of The Grand National Motorcycle Trial event which also contributed a carbon offset payment of £122 to the Yorkshire Dales National Park for the three peaks footpath maintenance fund.

    To thank the club members for their support marshalling the Generations Rally, Rally The Globe offered a financial contribution to the club. They also offered renumeration to Coldstones Quarry and Nidderdale Show Ground for use of their sites who both asked for it to be donated to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance , which was £500.  

    Thursday 3 April 2025 sees the start of the HERO ERA Flying Scotsman Rally. Competing from the club are  Kurt Vanderspinnen and Iain Tullie in the  Lea Francis Hyper; Stephen Owens and Ian Canavan in the Jaguar SS100.  Henry Carr is in charge of the tests at Catterick and is being supported by members of the club on marshalling duties.

    On Saturday Wigton MC are hosting the White Heather Targa at Kirkbride, competing from the club are Gavin Parry and Pete Clegg in the Proton Satria; David Mosey and Louise Richardson in the Vauxhall Corsa. 

    Also kicking off the season with the first round of the 2025 Nankang Tyres City Car Cup. We have the first round at Snetterton competing from the club are Team Fluffy with drivers John Sykes in the Toyota Aygo, Ben Spencer in the Toyota Aygo and Ryan Middlemiss in the Peugeot 107.

    On Sunday, Border MC are holding the Alan Healy Memorial Rally at Cadwell Park. Competing from the club are James Orton and Harry Forrest in the Peugeot 106; Jonathan Hudson and Amy Wolstenholme making her debut stage rally appearance in the Nissan Micra: Rob Priestnall and Jamie Forrest in the Proton Satria. 

    As always it’s great to have club members oit and about in different roles and a variety of disciplines. Have a great weekend everyone.

Wednesday Wheels is our FREE mid-week meet at The Motorist running 6pm – 9:30pm. Wednesday Wheels is a chance to see everything from bikes, supercars, classics to modern daily drivers. Everyone is welcome which means you can make this a weekly date in your diary in confidence you're bound to see something new every week!
